Transformation in the society requires us to bring a change in ourselves to thrive in this unstable world. Technology is rapidly growing and is spreading its arms into our lifestyle. It affects every aspect of our life – From Big businesses to small tasks like shopping. So, the changes in our lifestyle must go in accordance with the rapidly changing world. This world is Volatile, Uncertain, Complex and Ambiguous. Volatility depicts the unpredictable and fast changes in life. Uncertainty stands for the indefinite changes which take place without coming into the knowledge of the person. Complexity outlines the complicated interconnection of multiple components in a system. Ambiguous stands for misinterpretation on one topic due to absence of a direct answer.

As the pace of change continues to grow, it requires us to prepare ourselves for the upcoming changes and bring the same advancements in us in order to thrive and grow. One common quality that we should possess is gathering of correct knowledge and then applying it at the correct time in order to understand the intricacies of the world. Also, at times, we fumble in our decisions as we fear from making mistakes. But risk can be taken to achieve the goal. No matter what the outcome comes out to be, Risk taking is helpful but only when these risks are calculated. To manage complexity of the society, we must also be complex in our thoughts, thinking and mindset. This means that we need to be mature and not oversimplify our thoughts. This will help in dealing with the complicated world.

Sometimes, we are in a dilemma for choosing one thing among two, that is we are not clear about our decision. This should be avoided and we should be clear with our thoughts and decisions. We must not complicate ourselves in our own thoughts rather must keep a strong, clear and firm opinion. Leadership quality is one of the most important quality to thrive in the world, which displays the skills of effective communication and clarity.

Today’s business environment is full of information overload. In the business world, we should not be resistant and instead, always take advantages of the circumstances at the stage of business. We must possess leadership quality in ourselves and should be self-sustaining and not always take help. In today’s world, the speed of work is the thing which matters. Quick decisions are better than deep analysis which consume a lot of time.

Creative thinking and innovation are one of the skills, which we need to adopt to achieve unexpected successes as it helps in fresh discoveries and new information. Tactful Planning about business plans also helps us to capture emerging opportunities. The business companies must be dynamic, and must imagine the world’s future condition and work accordingly. We should also be experimental in businesses to gain experience and to flourish in this society. But this does not mean that we should depend entirely on experience but the current data should also be taken into account.

Let’s understand the importance of innovation and Changes in life with technology by an example -  Nokia, which was the first company to create cellular network in world, but with the arrival of internet, other mobile companies understood how data and not voice was the future of communication but, Nokia didn’t grasp the concept of hardware because the management feared to alienate current users if they changed too much, also they did not lead the drastic change in user experience This caused Nokia to develop a mess of an operating system with a bad user experience that did not fit the market.

At last, you must have confidence in yourself for facing the consequences of rapid changes in life. Also, you have to be self-aware about your own strengths and areas of development.

This makes us reflect that what is important to be done so as to not lag behind in generation just as we saw in the above example. The term describes the challenges we are facing in simple tasks to big businesses. Everything is changing rapidly. So, adopting the above qualities shall help us flourish in the current world.

Poem - 'To Become Worthy of Acceptance' Whenever I catch a sight of myself in the silver coated mirror, A Thank you note bears out of my young faithful heart, As lord created me as a person, who is worthy of acceptance who is worthy enough to be accepted by this judgmental social society, Even if as a debt, and not a gift, but to become worthy of acceptance is something which manages to be a true blessing.   The present-day society glides up high in the sky, as it elevates its rating each day, where some people fail to reach the level, as result they are abused, and fail to enjoy the feeling of revel,   I plea to the almighty to grant this worth to all, or rather make people understand that everyone is worthy of love and care, everyone is worthy of acceptance,
